Yu-Gi-Oh Regionals by Geek Retreat Newcastle at Royal Station Hotel!
Join us for the Yu-Gi-Oh event of the year! We’re honoured to be running this Tier 2 Yu-Gi-Oh event and we welcome everyone to come along for a great day of games! There’s lots going on and the event is open to all ages and levels of play! Due to demand pre-registration for the main Regionals is mandatory. Tickets are available below – you must be logged in to purchase.

The Top 8 players will receive an exclusive Regional Championship Playmat and the Top 4 players a Regionals Deckbox! World Championship Qualifier Invites will be awarded to the top players based on attendance. For every 8 players (rounded up) 1 invite will be awarded.
Doors Open at 11am and registration will close at 11:30am.
Round 1 starts at 12pm. The event is estimated to end around 7pm. A 1 hour lunch break will take place after round 3.
Please note as with all Yu-Gi-Oh! and Geek Retreat events, alcohol consumption during the event is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
The format of the event will use 40 minute Swiss rounds, Best-of-3 matches.
The number of rounds will be determined by the number of players. The event has a maximum number of 180 players which equates to 8 rounds of Swiss. There will be no Top Cut at this event and all prizes will be distributed based on final Swiss standings.
